Last weekend I went to Antwerp to attend a friends´ wedding. We stayed in beautiful Hilton hotel and that´s where I took these pictures of my morning outfit. In the last photo I´m wearing a Karen Millen coctail dress for the dinner but unfortunately I was really really in a hurry so I didn´t manage to take more pictures. Next time! :-)
Although I don´t expect (and often I don´t even want) to see the new menswear trends from catwalks on real men in streets, it´s undoubtedly interesting to watch the men fashion shows.
These days the Milan Men’s Fashion Week spring/summer 2013 is taking place. You could see the new collections of great designers such as Dolce&Gabbana, Philipp Plein, Bottega Veneta, Salvatore Ferragamo, Ermanno Scervino, Versace, Vivienne Westwood or Calvin Klein.
My personal favourites are Burberry Prorsum and John Varvatos.
P.S. Can you imagine a man wearing the Versace outfits from the photo? Wouldn´t you run away? :-D
For a friend´s b-day party, I decided to wear a black dress from Zara that I bought in May in Milan. So different style from the black dress I wore in my previous post! The weather was quite cold for this dress but I just couldn´t wait anymore. :-D I love especially the studded shoulders detail. To add some colours to the outfit, I wore accessories in neon colours.
P.S. Yes, I still have a "jumping picture" mania... :-D
This black dress from Karen Millen is one of my best-ever purchases. Very elegant yet suitable for almost every situation, from a work meeting to a formal evening event. Great cutting and needlework, high quality material, perfect fitting, elegant silhouette - these are the typical attributes of Karen Millen. I admit, I´m a fan of this brand. :-)
Yesterday I decided to wear the most simple combination - jeans-sweater-heels - in an "upgraded" golden version, with a golden sweater and accessories. In the lead role, see my new amazing sunnies! :-)
Good morning guys, from now on you can find Klara´s Point not only on Facebook but also on Instagram! I´ve just managed to add the Instagram button to this page (I feel almost like an IT guy :-D) or you can find me there under "klaraspoint".
Usually when I´m in the state of mind of "I don´t know what to wear", I pick either a black and white combination or a dress. That´s why I like this black dress with a white collar which is so easy to match with nearly anything.
In designers´ collections, black and white appears practically every season. For spring 2012, we could see it e.g. by Dior, DKNY, Lanvin, Chloe and many others.
What about you? Is a b/w combination also a rescue for you? :-)
Here is one more incredible video, a Roman Polanski film called "A Therapy". You might dislike the fur coat (actually I do) in the leading role or have a problem with the controversial director but the short film about a moment between a spoiled socialite and her shrink remains amazingly suggestive.
This Dior commercial was released about a month ago and I am still astonished... It´s unbelievable how such an unusual combination of music and location can perfectly work together... Very impressive, very glamorous.
Definitely my favourite dress for this season - the pink flower summer dress with American armholes. To avoid a total-pink (meaning total-Barbie :-D) look, I decided to match it with green heels and golden accessories. Not sure whether it helped... :-D
Yesterday I decided to wear my beloved Furla Rockstar a bit differently - in the 70´s style with high-waisted jeans, patterned shirt and an amazing retro hat. In this weather, there´s no problem to wear almost winter hats in June. :-) But at least such a cool outfit helped me find a motivation to go out in this dreadful weather.
